see u didnt even listen to all my points, u have way to many building without any blindspots. u need more gaps in fences  and spread the buildings out to create better flanking oppurtunities, u did good by removing some hedges. however u need to think about where u place green cover other than for aesthetic reasons, place it off in the open so a squad can take fire if need be to make a flank possible, and dont sit green cover infront of buildings where mp40s or flamers sit laughing at flanking squads tryna get close. it has potential but needs working on

ok, 1st you say the buildings dont have blind spots, and then you want me to move them more out of eachother to the open.

right now, the buildings are so close to eachother, that 1/4th of the building is useless becouse of the building next to it. also, mortars can sit behind the trees shooting at the buildings, there are holes EVERYWHERE in the fences, also theres heavy cover everywhere, but most in the middle. the middle should be the best spot, so it must be fighten over. Atgs arent so good as you think, you can either point them to the left, the right or to the road. if the enemy attacks from one of the sides your atg isnt defending, it cant just turn around becouse there are buildings everywhere.

and since there are so many buildings anyway, the enemy can never hold them all. just run to the town and get in one yourself. also, atgs do heavy dmg shooting at the buildings, theyre all gone in no time.

Cover should be evenly spread over the entire map. any concentration/omnidirectional creates a "fortified point"

theres light cover EVERYWHERE, there are hailstacks in some fields, in every field is a burned truck, in some fields are sandbags or wrecks.
only in the middle are some cars and heavy walls.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

You've just proven my point by calling some of the most popular EIR maps horrible. Smiley
Your perception on 'good maps' is unorthodox at best.

Do a poll of how many people actually "like" lanteville(treeespaaaaam)? You yourself removed vierville from the module. Deadbolt hates bergen too, unun hates it too. Nuenen isn't all that horrible, yes, St. Winn is way worse. I can still win this by saying "Airfield" Wink. Crossroads has some of the most terrible pathfninding I've ever seen in a map, not to mention the tree-spam which obstructs view. Bocage - hooray to no flanking oportunities! I said what tanteville needs to become a good map. It's currently at a very early beta stage of a map, I can't believe spartan considers it a final. And yeah, how many people like Carentan? The pathing is obnoxiously horrible, and there's very few flanking oportunities.

Don't worry, we're not just going to add in random new abilities, units & upgrades just because we can.

Thats it, just because unknown said that; I'm adding a new ability to a unit.

Nuenen is great, St Winn is way way to fucking big/spread out for a 2v2.
Crossroads is a good map, because it has a ncie mixed layout and is just wide enough to make map control difficult enough to keep the game flow interesting.

Im jus wondering with these new revised doctrines will elite units have to be unlocked to actully buy. ( I don't mean make then T4 unlocks but T1). In VCOH you don't get them straight away if youp ick a doctrine with an elite unit. You have to spend points on them so why not in this mod?

PS: By Elite Units I mean Ranger, Airborne, Stormtroopers, Falls, Commandos.

Crossroads is one of my favorite 2v2's.  Neunen is great as well.

St. Winn really should be a 3v3.  Its too big for a 2v2.
