The same way a supply drop shouldnt be able to block tanks, A jeep shouldnt be able to block tanks. IMO, not an exploit. Griefing maybe but not an exploit. On the same level as Vet Hunting maybe.
What might need to be looked into is noob advantages being given to experianced players who create new companies. This is being abused IMO.

What does it matter if its an abuse of game mechanics? If its not overpowered then it should be allowed. Often times bugs or 'abuse' add a lot of depth and skill requirement because they are hard to pull off but the payoffs are good, case and point mutalisk stacking in starcraft. Just because the developer did not intend it in the game doesn't mean it can't be good for the game.
Of course I'm arguing in general here because I don't know much about this case. Just saying you shouldn't dismiss it just because it wasn't intended

Also, I lost a game due to not enough anti-infantry units, so airborne get double damage at each vet level.
More changes to come.

My sincerest apologies puddin.
I just reveiewed the replay, and in my frantic panther micro I must've clicked the button for the drop then clicked the map, cause where the supply drop smoke dropped, I was clicking attack move for my panther.
Really sry man, I had no intention of griefing you at all.

And a little supply drop griefing at the end. (Just for the lulz)
found in the replay he posted, contradictory much?

Honestly, I am sry, but I just find it so silly now, that after I apologized that multiple threads have sprung up calling for nerfing newb advantages, and the abusing of mechanics, and other such nonsense where people will just hop on the band wagon even if the claim is absolutely ridiculious.
Everyone's making a mountain out of a mole hill, and i find it funny.
Just because I posted a replay out of good humor doesnt mean that i dont feel some regret for blowing up puddings computer pixilated company of heroes M10
but comon, its only a game, and i thought ppl would like to see what happened.

I am not asking for a nerf. I am asking for them to not be abused. Noob advatages are to help noob companies compete with veteran companies, not for abuse by veteran players.

a group a veterans make a 3v3 with 1 noob account so they get the recon runs and supply drop. The noob account is played by a skilled player so his units will still be well microed but he wont have much vet or doctrine abilities.

I always thought they were noob *company* advantages, not noob player advantages, so skill isn't really a factor.
It's to try and alleviate the massive advantage a rank 8 has in PP spent, compared to a rank 1-2, whether the skill is matched or not.
I thought anyway.

dropping airbourne do the same thing, but due to delay its not a problem, and theyre squished by tanks.
simple delay of 5-10 seconds would work, i mean who the hell gets instant support weapons and AT from the sky?

you almost always need that instantly when you spawn
5-10s and the good map positions are lost
but actually i find it funny calling supply drop grief from someone running around the map in that game with T17 blobs

Actually Airborne do not get squised, they get shot at, THey can;t be run over untill the person can control them. Or the last time they dropped on me. UNless you have a puma, or Ostwind to shoot them down in mid air...
Are t-17s griefing by any means? I don;t quite remember that....
