In last game I picked with them zook,and on their profile they had +2 because of zook,but there was no zook in squad and they only fired mp44-s...

its same with MP40 volks, you pick something up you can't get to use it. Its been there for as long as I remember

same thing with range if u have the full package, you can't pick u anything.
mp40's, mp44's, smg's, zooks, schrecks, rr's, lmgs, bars, g43's, brens, the sniper in a recon sqd, piats,
although commando's and kch can pick up weapons and replace the sten and mp44, they're the exception.
are considered special non replicable weapons, meaning say u have a 6 man squad of bars, u can't pick up any droppable weapon, same with a sqd full of schreck,s rr, or any combo thereof.

Well, strictly speaking it can happen to any squad that has a weapon upgrade but still enough slots to pick up more weapons. A BAR rifles squad that picks up a schreck and then gets reduced to 1-2 men can run around without using the schreck. In vCoH, of course, you could reinforce this squad and once it had enough members they'd use the schreck again. In EiR... not so much. The difference is that a MP40 volks squad (and, it seems, assault grenadier squad) counts as having a weapon upgrade on every model, and so there's no unupgraded model free to use the picked-up weapon.

(Not certain how accurate that is, as it shows MP40s as slot 1, volks as 5 slots, which means a volks squad with 5 MP40s shouldn't even be allowed to pick up other weapons, which I'm fairly certain it can).

As the table I linked shows, upgrading a squad with g43s doesn't give everyone in the squad the g43, it gives the squad 2 g43s. (At least in vCoH, presumably it's the same in EiR?)

the weapons i listed are guns that can override other weapons. So say you have two guys left and they've both got g43's, if u try to pick up another weapon, they might not use it.
but basically the units that if they pick up a weapon and wont use it are fully upgraded ranger, mp40 volks and assault grens. the other ones have to have their slots filled up.
i've watched a teammate pikc up two schrecks on a mp40 volks and then get mad cuz they wouldn't shoot lol

There is a way to fix this, is to create assault gren ebps with starting weapon as MP44 instead of Kar98k
