They need a nerf, sherman has no problem killing inf without them, now its just ridiculous. Make it affect m10s/m18s or decrease duration and increase time between uses.

replay or it doesn't happend

It working on 76mm upguns is just plain annoying to deal.

Just spoke with Gamesguy on it, it replaces the round with the exact round from the StuH, meaning it sucks half as much on penetrating tanks and pretty much fires the same round, and I believe he also said the StuH has a much greater range since its an arty piece-lite and not a tank.
But the StuH has no turret, a slow-traveling round, is very inaccurate, etc.
From what I recall, the round is a 75mm shell, meaning it can't be dodged and has great scatter angle, and is also highly accurate.

And it's also a T4..a normal StuH shell for a T4 would quite blow.

Meh, HE rounds should really only oneshot grenadiers and similar "tough" infantry squads on a platform like the Pershing. The sherman is already awesome. If HE is one shotting gren squads on HE, it could need a tune.

On the axis side, nothing but the HEAT tiger comes close to reliably one shot squads. And it's twice the price.

Yes, but it's also ridiculous for a Sherman to one-shot one squad every ~7 seconds for however long the ability lasts (30 seconds?).
But taking it off of 76mm Shermans should be good enough. If it's just 75mms, it shouldn't be too hard to deal with with armor. I think.

I ran HE rounds with strictly 75mm's for a few matches, It's certainly a counter balance. Dealing with P4's and up becomes an issue. Forces you to have an ATG on the field almost always. (or an AP round M10 spam ally)

Well it's like facing mass StuHs too, one should have allies to assist those very same ATGs in pushing those tanks back.

Also, am I correct to assume that the Armor Doctrine list (linked off the front of the main page) is correct?  It only affects 75mm shermans (which means very sucky penetration of tanks) and Pershings (which are good at killing infantry anyway).  It's pretty much a mirrored StuH round no?

Except the part where the StuH round has travel time and enough drift to take 3-4 shots to have an effective one and the Sherman round flies straight in and absolutely wtfrapes everything. Yes its pretty much a mirrored StuH round...

How is everyone complaining that it's ineffective vs. tanks? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's a 25s ability, so doesn't it really only affect 3-4 shots? A player would only pop it when dealing with infantry, and by the time the enemy has brought up Panthers or P4s the tank is reverted to normal rounds. Is this not what happens?

3 Week necromancy!

It's supposed to be limited to the 75mm Sherman. yes it's a timed ability so it working with the better then average AT ability of the 76mm sherman is an issue. It'll eventually be fixed. so that you can make 75mm Shermans super good on infantry but they'd still have the utter trash AT ability. You'd need to rely on more conventional forms of AT
