Launcher works fine, can create company, doctrines, battle, etc

However, it crashes immediately after pressing the 'Launch Game' button, with the following error description.

Description:
  Stopped working

Problem signature:

I have already turned off UAC and tried updating my .NET. Please advise.

I can't really speculate on that, haven't asked anyone else. I doubt that they are, though, considering there are other games being played

Another battle? No, I didn't want to force another group to abandon the game. I'm not sure why it would be any different anyhow

EDIT: Just tried another game and started up just fine. I wonder what the problem was the first time

I believe if the file doesnt exist on our server, this will happen - but happen to ALL players.

If just one player has this happen as you seemed to have, its usually because the Launcher was unable to write the battle file (like, permissions or locked file or something)

I'll check the code anyway, its possible that its trying to move a file that doesnt exist yet (due to you just installing it, so the 'old' battlefile isnt there.)

Thanks for trying it again though - hope you have fun in the mod! =)

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.
