Ive been prowling around the moddb site and we've been getting quite a few ppl posting with this problem lately. 0-LSD-0 3hours 51mins ago says: New Comment
Just like Woodstock, i don't get an email sent after signing up. It's been about 18 hours, and i've tried with 2 email accounts.

I did it manually. Emails get sent just fine. If there's shit awaiting activation it means its bots or retards.

the site always had issues with confirmation emails
with smurfing banned now we dont come across the issue much cuz new players cant post.
Could we make a single forum with 2 therads where guests can post if they have an issue?
maybe cap the thread to one 300 char post per minute or something to protect from bots

A few days Ago Woodstocks problem was brought to my attention and I helped him along with it. I also went through and activated accounts that didn't seem like bots/spam. People who had an issue should be getting in just fine now though
