A fairly fun battle; Nothing terribly amazing or exceptional, but some decent stuff. Allied Victory.
Good use of Mortars by the allies, 3 Useless Churchill Crocs, a 2x Officer Wehr start, Surprisingly defensive Axis armour, and an amusing 280mm Nebel/ATG duel at the end.

Also, I don't think I sucked as much as I usually do. And yes, watching the replay I realize I was far too passive for my own good.

C&C appreciated, of course.

EDIT: And since a new patch appeared just after we got this done, it seems that this is a pre-0.7.9c replay. So yeah.

I honestly didn't notice. I'll have to go over the replay again.

Many high-fives to you if your appearence coincided with a huge swing in our favor, though.

(Or not. It seems a wild patch appeared a bit after the game happened, damnit. Blah.)

I thought that the Churchill Crocs did pretty well considering what situation you had them go into against Heavy AT. Crocs can't really fight Axis Armor, the 6pdr gun is only good for Puma armor and below.

Worried about your retreating tendency, You seem to hit retreat button very early for Captains when they could of simply move away and that mass retreat in the middle didn't seem warranted. Pretty sure they could of caused more damage before they needed to retreat.

The Churchil 6 pdr is *adequate* versus P4s, IMO. It can't be relied on wining a solo engagement all the time - but it will always provide some nice supporting fire if you have an AT gun around.

Hmm. You're right, I do seem to be a bit retreat-happy there. I'm probably too protective of those damn Captains. I love the guys far too much once they start gaining vet 2/3.  I'll try and force my finger off of the retreat trigger next game, though. Thanks for the tips.
