when i click on download latest version it downloads fine but it dls as an unreadable file and it makes me choose w program from a list on what to run it with. am i doing something wrong?

You should be taken to: http://www.filefront.com/16580449/EIRRSetup.exe/Which is a .exe auto-installer file. If it doesnt work when you double click it, something went wrong with the download. It should be ~442Mb in size. |

I had this issue as well. What you have to do is put .exe at the end of the file and it will work.

had the problem too and had to reverse to the previous version. Moreover, autoupdater didn't work yesterday, opening directly to launcher. I could enter the launcher, do everything on it but once on CoH launcher couldn't join any Eir game...I've reinstalled Eir (still previous version) and autoupdater worked. However, I'll have to wait for tonight to know if it has solved this weird problem...

i downloaded the one from the link you provided EirMod and when i launch the laucnher it sais . "could not download file list" try again later". i also tried adding .exe from the one on the site, and it sais "the flie is corrupt pleas get another copy of the file, in which itried more then once. does eir work on w7?

no it doesnt. This is not because of the installer location.
If it says 'cannot download file list' that means there is some sort of block between your computer, the internet and then our server.
Check for proxies (in IE is most common), or a firewall.
- I know other people have solved this, please post it here.
