But he gets so upset, Heartmann. I can't help it.
2013... We'd never allow NK to absorb SK. It wouldn't happen. The South Korean people wouldn't let it happen. First huge, stupid flaw in that half-assed, stupid story.
I'll write a story... about how Canada becomes militaristic and invades the US. The US, always seeing Canada as our friendly and polite neighbors to the north are taken totally by surprise!
Half assed and stupid yes? Still better than that pile of garbage that is Homefront.
And not necessarily spinn. America loves being the underdog. It's why our history classes ignore the eastern front of World War 2 and focus only on Japan and the Normandy invasion.
NK didn't absorb the SK, they reunited under Kim Jong Ill, it wasn't a military victory but it sounds like it was a political victory, which we'd allow, mainly because SK is a democratic country and if they voted it in, we would try to influence but not touch it with our military.
and canada being militaristic is even stupider mainly because canada hasn't been anything close to being a military power since ww2, at least both Korea's are tough enough that no country around them wants to even touch them. You forget that North Korea has nukes.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5yyWZ2Z6Psso basically
2011 - NK gets stronger
2012 jong-ill dies
2013 jun-un reunites korea politically
2015 oil goes to crap, weakens everything. oil is like crack to america
2017 civil unrest (weakens everything further), we leave the asian countries completely, so no one to stop korea from doing anything. (btw right
now North Korea is stronger militarily than Japan in terms of size of army and south korea tech wise is stronger than japan so that'd be easy for them)
2022 - 2nd great depression
2024 - korea annex's everything around japan (south china sea, japan, vietnam, cambonia, etc)
2025 - invasion
http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread501266/pg1A single nuclear bomb exploded over the Midwest would generate an electromagnetic pulse that would destroy the chips that are the heart of every electronic device. While military and intelligence networks may be shielded against EMP, most of the rest of the country's technological infrastructure is not.
An EMP attack would wipe out personal computers and the internet. Cars would not start, gasoline pumps would not work, and airplanes could not take off.
