Don't know if you guys have come across this before, but here it is.

If you guys need to use Hamachi to play a game and it's not working (specifically if you can't see the LAN game that somebody else has made), then make sure you have the Hamachi network priority set to number 1.

(NB. This works for XP, and I've no idea how it would work in vista.  Can't imagine it's too different though.)

1) go to Start -> My Network Places -> View Network Connections.

2) Up top, click on Advanced -> Advanced Settings.

3) You should see a list of your connections.  Use the arrows (right) to put Hamachi at the top of the list.

4) Restart your computer.

This fixed all my CoH Hamachi problems instantly.  It made me a happy man.

Also, if that doesn't work, I read somewhere a while back that the later version of Hamachi conflicts with CoH for some reason. Here is a thread for the 1.0.1.5 version which seems to work a treat.

http://www.itnews.com.au/Download/17716,hamachi-1015.aspx

When you download it, be sure not to update as thats sometimes why it doesn't work. If you need to check your current version, just go into the preferences and make sure its 1.0.1.5

Cheers

The process is very similar in vista however no restart is required. I do warn you however that you can interupt your normal Internet access with these steps.

I will do some morefooling around with it and amend my Vista Users Guide to accomandate this feature. I did however utilise my Phone to connect to the Net on my pc last night during an isp Radius malfunction, the process is very similar Tongue

The only other problem I've encountered with this is with my normal LAN.  If i have Hamachi as priority one then I cannot see games on my normal LAN.  If I have LAN as priority one, then I cannot see hamachi games.

This sounds more like a Network conflict issue to me. Have you tried Bridging the two networks? im not sure if this is possible with Hamachi as it operates as a VPN but that should in theory solve the problem, I shall also look into this in the near future (tomorrow if im not feeling slack Tongue ) ontop of all the other minor issues im seeking fix's for atm.
