If there could even be a problem with 'suicide companies' for assault , it would be a volk company and the AW for Ab rifleman.
I say remove assault from volks and limit grenades on AW per volley to 3 like grens - and they should only be on airborne so it cannot be spammed a lot like on rifleman.

I never seen a assault spam company with kch or grens.

But yeah, were just going to go with the "no suppression" on the nades for the moment, but I will look into see if we can put a timer onto it.

Also, Assault should be effected by the weapons cache pool when that comes, so sucide companies will be properly taxed for their utility, no need to remove assault from volks and AB.

There was also discussion about removing the defensive modifiers. I dont think its entirely a good idea, but I could get behind having reduced modifiers for volks, then semi-reduced for grens, then no reduction for KCH, so that the modifiers are based upon unit cost and the units that can be spammed die faster, but that hasnt been discussed yet and may be an overnerf.

Removing the suppression from Assault would be a large step towards rectifying the problem of spam companies. Most of the time, I move my men away from the squads using assault and the grenade explosions manage to just brush that one guy who's always lagging behind, and suppress the whole damn squad.

Fixing a bug which makes the assault ability NOT stopping should be first priority!

assault already got overnerfed

the only thing that made it borderlined op was joint ops T4 but without it is only a waste of munitions

that ability is now on the same list as stummel, volks panzerfaust etc. aka list of now useless crap
