i was really interested in it, and thought about getting it, but i dont really need it, though if you get it let us know how it is when you first buy it, then tell us about it after a week of play to see if its still good =)

I've played it on the Xbox, the core concepts are really cool but the game is somewhat repetitive at times and it can get a little boring at times. It's also a little short, but for $15 it's a decent purchase I suppose. I'd personally rather Black & White 3, developed by someone other than Peter Molyneux.

Explain to me how this Draconian DRM managed to impair your playing experience? I always hate people fucking bitching about Ubisoft's DRM, when it's really not that bad. At no point during an Ubisoft game have I stopped to say, "man, this really sucks that I need an Internet connection to play this!"

When I bought AS2 I could not play it the first month because "it could not connect to the server", this time they just deserve the hate; when asked one of their representatives explicitly said you wouldn't need an active connection to play, only to activate the game the first time.


This shit is so bad even Steam is offering refunds....

Try having an XBox constantly kick you off playing the game when your LIVE connection goes down.

Not fucking fun at all.  Especially with periodic saving....

I'm having a good time with it. No issues, no lag, fps is fine. Gamely is relaxing with plenty of interesting ways to complete levels.

But then they'll say that the DRM is just to 'hold off' the cracked copies for a few days/weeks while their sales get met.

ALL DRMs are totally retarded. They are far more frustrating for people who actually pay for the game then they are for people who pirate it. you know i have to carry fucking cds with me so i can play say Commanders Mod on CoH in case I'm somewhere I can't get an internet connection. It's retarded. I just want to play SP for christ sakes. DRM should only be on multiplayer modes or something.

Played the demo a while back on Live, same with the much anticipated Bastion. I didnt like either.
Though i find Toy Soldiers Cold War kind of fun.
And oddly enough i think Might and Magic  Clash of Heroes is an awesome addition to the HOMM franchise
