1. The Weapon Cache system has yet to be introduced, and there isn't even an ETA at the moment. The prices I have suggested here could be changed and implemented in moments, and put into the next mini-patch.
The cache system HAS been introduced, there are just no numbers entered into the database.
I have the list, and I could run it in like, 15 seconds - but Im waiting till the next patch, which will more than likely be in the next 48 hours.
This 'mini-patch' you propose would be more work than it would take me than just running our current waiting queries for the weapons cache (and MU changes)
2. Even if we were taking the Weapon Cache into account, most of the upgrades listed here will not be affected by the Cache system, or if they are, the impact will be an absolute minimum (brn told me this directly).
That is correct
3. The price reductions that might be implemented (there's currently no confirmation that price changes will even occur), are likely to only affect high-cost purchases or upgrades (ie the Panzerschreck or Thompson, as listed in the very post you quoted). I specifically made this thread to address the lesser used, or lower-costing abilities, which are unlikely to be touched on by a price change.
Also correct.
However we decided to only do the larger units, upgrades etc for now - as we want to see
how the mechanic plays out before we do micro balance fixes like the list you suggest.
4. The implementation of the Cache system itself means absolutely nothing to the discussion at had, because if an upgrade costs too much in terms of Munitions, it will never be taken, no matter what it's Cache cost is. This thread was created to specifically address only Munitions costs, and discussion of the Cache system was not meant to dominate the conversation.
The cache was meant to address upgrades and units that 'cost' too much in terms of munitions, but to decrease their MU cost at all would create an IMBA upgrade or set of units.
I have made this all as clear as possible for you.
By continuing to not actually post anything relevant to the discussion, and continuing to drag this thread off topic, you are breaking the forum rules, and ruining this thread. You're the only one making such a fuss over literally nothing, and it's clear that other posters here are interested in conversing about the ideas I have put forward.
Get out.
Nuh ;p
