What would be some interesting ideas regarding support weapons such as MGs, ATGs, and mortars?

Some that come to mind for me are those like "Barrel Change" (shorter reloads), "Lafayette Tripod" (Axis specific; marginally higher accuracy), "HE Shells" (target ability that would fire a single shell with higher-then-normal-splash from an atg), "Ammunition Runners" (MGs fire longer bursts/have shorter pauses between bursts), and "Mortar Sights/Experienced Gunners" (mortar barrage ability circle size is greatly reduced, meaning drastically smaller spread and high shell concentration).

These arent really meant to be directly added, I know ive suggested other odd-end crap, its just something on the table that doesnt directly boost accuracy and damage--these are other modifiers such as scatter angle, cooldown, burst duration, burst cooldown and so on.

IMO not really unique upgrades. And Im not sure what unique upgrades you could add.



Flammen MG upgrade, obviously turns MG into a super directional flamethrower that rapes face and takes names.

add "repair weapons" for a munition like medkit so companies that don't have aura-healing type units/structures (armor, th, luft, blitz, terror) can repair the weapon back to full hp.
