OK, I just bought OF today and it doesnt say expansion pack on the box... Does that mean that I dont need VCOH to play this?

Nope it is a stand alone expansion, no need for the original to play it.


An interesting thing I found out, since I did buy COH when it was released, and even though the 1.8 gig patch cluster fucked my original installation of COH.  I can play the COH races with OF installed even though I dont have the original COH installed anymore.

must be some reminant of Vcoh on you PC somewere, either that or its becuse of your Vcoh online account.

i would think its the online account, the true test is to see if you can play the vcoh single player missions, my bet is you can't.

the way it works guys is simple

COH + 1.8 patch

and OF are the same game

once COH is updated its the same as installing it right off of the OF disc

the OF disc has the American and Werchermart Shit in it, along with Singleplayer

However you cant activate that shit without entering a code, and a one-time reading of a CD
