Not sure if anyone is using this..

Use autohotkey to make your own hotkeys. Google it. There is lots of info on gamereplays.org on how to make them. People prolly also uploaded a few over there, u can edit those if needed.

I0am0already0using0it0right0now.

As you can see in the above sentence I have remaped my Numpad0 to space but the problem is that it works in vCOH but not Eir.

I have tried to run Autohotkey before launching the game and after launching the game, but it simply does nothing (not even in launcher or ingame chat) while EiR is running. When out of the game it runs fine as proven by the first sentence.

This is strange, isn't it?

I use hotkey script myself. Works fine. Can always try to run as admin.

if you put this in ur script the script will automatically ONLY work in coh, and not windows.(right click, edit script, open with wordpad)

#IfWinActive, Company Of Heroes

;SUSPEND

]::suspend

Make a command like this so you can suspend the script when you want to use chat for example. (replace ] with any key you want to use for this, 1 time to disable, again to enable again)

Also numpad 0 is tacmap by default, might try a different key

You did download autohotkey right? and THEN made a script etc?

Yes I downloaded it myself. Read the help, watched tutorials and made the scripts myself some time ago. I use it in combination with Grid keys in vCOH to remap CTRL+S to SPACE for tactical map and some other stuff too and it works like a charm, but unfortunately not here.

Without Grid Keys the tactical map is at Numpad0 which I was trying to remap to SPACE without any success so far.

Thanks for the activate and suspend lines of the script. I didn't know about them but needed them.

Thanks again.

Still need help with the remapping or Grid Key in Eir Mod though as I checked after adding the lines and it worked with VCOH but not Eir.

So the script atleast works ingame now?

If so use this to change keys:

e::n

E is a certain command you can now also acces this by pressing N, when the script is activated. E also remains the same, N is just extra.

Some hotkeys are different compared to vcoh.

Is that line still in the .module? (Open in notepad)

archive.xx = WW2\Archives\WW2Data_KeyDefaults.

It may not be, so you may have to add it yourself. it should work when you've done that. Just run the launcher without the autoupdater so it doesn't overwrite it every time. (Be sure to keep an eye on patches though, so you can manually run the updater when a patch is out)

Works perfectly now after adding the line.

Appreciations, Love and Respect for both "Skaffa" and "unknown" for helping me out.

Skaffa! Once again thanks for the suspend key, it is really helpful.

I will ask someone to add that line to the .module again by default as well, that way you won't have to re-enter the line every time there is a patch.

That would be great.

What about Grid Keys...is there any fancy trick like this one for making them work too in EiR?

I have it working in vCOH.
