The Grille has no use, it's extremely expensive, and it's like a Stuh. Who's idea was the Grille? Myst did you do this? lol jk ;-)

Recommendation: The Grille is a short-range artillery with less fuel(160-180), shorter recharge time, and less shells; also it should have incendiary barrage with less shells than the Hummel if the doctrine unlock is selected.

Aye, its pretty garbage in its current iteration and will be probably be moved out of the roster for now with the wipe at the end of next week. Expect it to make a reappearance in a better state either as a reward unit or back in a doctrine later on
