The other day I found out quite a few people played FS2 and heard of the SCP so I'm curious to see how much of this community has heard, played, or visited the SCP website. If you haven't, go check it out. You can download and play FS1 and FS2 with updated graphics. Did I mention FS1 and FS2 are the two best space simulator ever made? Go check it out if you want to enjoy a classic.

If you're a fan of BSG, go check out the BtRL mod. It's great and it won first place for best OS mod of the year.

Sweet, i love Freespace, amazing game. Under the recent builds bit on that forum theres loads of stuff, whats the latest FS2 Open build? Also does it inculde the campaign?

That latest official build is 3.6.9, but the beta for 3.6.10 is already out. Yes, the original Freespace 2 campaign is included. An updated version of the original Freespace is also included. There's also over a hundred custom campaigns. Granted most of them are mediocre, at least a dozen or two are fabulous.

Freespace is a space fighter simulator. SCP = Source Code Project.

The Freespace SCP is an open source version of Freespace that includes the entire original game plus updated graphics and custom campaigns. And it's all free.
