I just got a new MOBO and CPU.  The MOBO is an XFX nForce 780i 3-way sli
and the CPU is a new intel core 2 duo E8400.

I'm still running on my older 7800GTX OC which never had this problem with my old board/cpu.  Any ideas on what is causing the strange graphic bug below?

It also screwed up my mouse out of game...

Do you got Vista?
Have made sure  the grafics card is realy in plase?

Tyr to re download Direkt X, then lower All the grafics, if that dose not work try to MAX your grafics, that will tell you if it the drivers, and try some othere game, DoW is the best next try

Check your drivers, reinstall them if you have to. If that's not working you might have a hardware problem, can't say that that's real "artifacting" but it is messed up.

OMG its the end of the world! 

/agree on the driver reinstall.  Does this happen every time or just once?  Do you get errors in other games?

Finally, what is your batch # and pack date for the E8400 out of curiosity?

Well it is the first time, I turned down the graphics to the "auto detect" and it stabilized after a reboot.

@ Kolath,  the E8400 Batch is Q745A743 and the Pack date is 1-11-08.

The CPU must have some sort of graduated speed because at idle it runs at 2000 MHz and then  at load it gets up to 3000 MHz.

The new 45nm architecture is super cool, the little sucker only gets to about 38c at load with the stock heat sink.
