That game was awesome.  I felt like I had a full tank army.  Smiley  First time.  Loved it.

Zomg hax. Yeah, poor axis. They kept running into mines at the exact wrong time... heh.  The v1'd panther really hurt them too, it killed their momentum for lack of AT just as territory control was becoming important.

Axis being out-pop'd is why that blitz worked so well.. for example: another squad or two of infantry might have kept the sticky squad off the panther.

That Panther loss really hurt. Losing perhaps 1/4 of your total fuel budget (for 2 players) and an artillery strike really hurt these players.

Over 1/2 of my FU.  This is a pretty unplayed company Tongue

Poor play on the axis side indeed.
The outright lack of proper AT usage is what pretty much sealed the deal, bad PAK placement, only one single shreck team early game, losing tons of shrecks to not having support, etc. etc.

If the axis had their shit together in the AT department, allies would've never been able to steamroll them with tanks.
(Although CN probably got discouraged after losing his Panther to that V1, who wouldn't-)

Entertaining none the less I guess.
Do a rematch, I think both Draygon & CN played below their average level.  Smiley

Also, mine detectors are your friends Wink.

The speed penalty when deployed makes it really ineffective against infantry to be honest, with the exception of suppressed infantry Smiley. A properly microed shreck squad should have no issues outrunning the mine flail when it's deployed.

Would be great if people used it more against mines too, although it's hard predicting where the actual mines are going to be.
