but seriously, any word on the CD being changed? I really want to play infantry but i like to revolve my companies around howies, and its just not practical with a 4 min cooldown.

No unit in this game remains useless. If the howitzer really is "useless", the devs will probably change it. I'd assume by next patch.

Even if you make perfect hits (Witch is hard) it is not worth the 10 pop cap bound for 4 more mins.
