Help getting started in-game

Trying to get my first game started with the launcher but can't see the battle in the multiplayer list.

The files seem to download ok and EIR starts fine - just can't find the battle.

How do I confirm that the mod is active?

Hope you can help, as it looks really good.

What do you mean by 'can't find the battle'? It's not showing in the MP list?
Also, there's unfortunately no real way of telling wether you're running the mod or not, although once you're online, all/most games should be greyed out. (Since most games are played vanilla, not with EiR)

Hopefully we'll get a custom background soon :/.

That's right I can't see it in the mp list. All filters are off and I can only see grey games.

Did someone host the game, also are you on vent, it makes it much easier.

Someone has to actually host it, its not automatic. You need to be able to communicate with the other people in your game and the best way to do this is vent, even if you can only listen.

And if you have that reliccoh thing that turns dev off on keep that off it won't work with it on.

Thanks guys. I didn't have the map packs installed (didn't see this in the manual) so I guess that may be it. I'll also install vent. Hope fully it will work after thats done.
