Synaesthete (I find it quite difficult to pronounce), is a game developed by a group of senior students at Digipen Institute of Technology for their senior project. Digipen is the same place where the guys who started the Portal mod came from. Anyways, that's not important. The game itself looks quite fascinating with really weird looking effects and lots and lots of colors. The game is played by both hands, one handles the movement, and the other handles the arrows that would occasionally drop down in the center of the screen which apparently permits your character to attack.

I haven't actually played the game yet, but I'm currently downloading it. It looks pretty decent, and from what I've heard, it's also of top notch quality. Normally, I don't like games with DDR style gameplay (arrow mashing anyone?) but game looks too good to not give a run. So, is anyone else with me? Let's see what kind of quality those students at Digipen can pump out.

Also, I lost a game due to not enough anti-infantry units, so airborne get double damage at each vet level.

More changes to come.

I've played it a bit now, and it's basically DDR combined with a third person shooter game. I'll get the link for ya.

I've just beaten the game and unlocked 78 rpm mode. I have to say, the game is more enjoyable at 78 rpm. You have to actually worry about getting too many times, though I wish there was an even higher rpm for a real challenge.
