First of all hi, i'm new to EiR and imo it's epic (so far)

but to the point: I've been wandering if Staff member could change player company number or set specified ending for faction (so Jerries would get for example: "204. waffen" while Americans "204th").

Well it's nothing major but it bothers me (i sadly typed "th" ending for my axis Company Number), and i wont be able to sleep well Shocked

oh, and yes, i scanned forum by search button.

thanks in advance!

Back when it still showed division numbers under the avatarts on the forum, the germans had X. Division instead of Xth Division Wink.

Companies were never designated like that. American companies were named alphabetically and a corresponding code name (able company, bravo company), germans simply named their companies with numbers (1. Kompanie, 2. Kompanie).

All battalions had number designations, like 502 Battalion. Only the higher formations like divisions had callsigns, like the screaming eagles airborne division or the Totenkopf Division. Thats why I think naming companies is rather useless, especially with names like dildo company etc.

I would be better to name the players battalion (everyone controls 3 companies) and then let him designate it from a few given choices, like for example airborne division, and then chose between Pathfinder Battalion or Heavy Parachute Battalion etc. depending on his personal playstyle.
