just wondering what your opinions would be about dawn of war being like EIR

i know it would but i'm using dawn of war for 3 reasons....


1: my computer most likely won't be able to play dow 2

2: not everyone has a good computer so others most likely won't be able to run it

3: it's the first one that came to mind

i like DOW, it probably will work EIR style. But i may not be quite as fun, due to older mechanics.

i agree with this, if DoW had newer mechanics like maybe Essence Engine 1.5
or something like a cover system and destructible enviroment and Garrasinable buildings

found a DoW thats supposed to enhance things on it also they have EIR based community with their own ventrilo server

o dow 2 uses the essence 2 engine, its a newer more advance version we are using now, they needed to update most aspects to fit with the series but i see few problems if there was ever a EIR like mod for it. besides well you know whats hurting us

well i have one more thing to say......

i heard that theres supposed to be a company of heroes 2 but, every time i see an article on the internet its from march 29th 2007 and also they say its going to be in games for windows magazine for april 2007

CoH 2 was Opposing Fronts silly.

Dawn of War currently doesn't have anything remotely near that of the things needed to make it like EiR. Dawn of War 2 however will.
