That mod has some good maps, anyone ever play it?
Anyone up for taking some of those maps and seeing if we could integrate them into EiR?
There are some wicked crazy maps on there and they've got a different version of Bastion in a ruined city with some good open and closed areas and about 10 2v2 maps. no 4 v 4's
anyone want to test one of them out with me later today after work, e-mail me.

PS just to let you know there wouldn't be snow on them if you integrated them into EIR but they still would be fun. Talk to the owner of the map to see what he can do. I know Henry666 made some of them.

why would there not be snow? you can just use their custom weather setting or make your own.

That's not how maps work.

There isn't snow on them, those are skins of the ground that make it look like snow. Play the maps in Vcoh there isn't snow on the ground. They reskinned the tiles used in WorldBuilder so the maps lok different. They aren't made with snow frm the start. Sorry My "O" key is messed up, and works rarely.

We already have work-arounds.
You use sand textures for the ground, certain lighting effects, and custom weather setting if you want it to snow.

I know that, but thats not how there maps are made. They reskinned the tiles for the mod, so in EIR it would be normal dirt and grass. You can play Vcoh maps with the BOTB and they'd have snow effects on them too.

I believe they also reskinned some of the vegetation as well.
That said, we could still look into using the map layouts. Report back on which ones you think would be good for EiR.

I'm going to check them out when I get home, but I can't really play them in EiR without testing it with someone so I guess i'll talk with someone later.

I much prefer CryEngine 2.
Snow = click a button and auto-snow textures on everything! Click another couple of button and snowflakes! Click some more buttons and 4-dimensional snow textures!

4 dimensions? They make snowflakes and textures in the dimension of time?
