Anyone have an Elder beta account they aren't using? This is the beta accounts that are still active right now and can be used up until pre-launch. I have a regular beta account but can't play again until the 6th of September. Please let me know.
Also, stay tuned for information regarding the release of more code/costs for EIR.

Not yet... I've only briefly played it and didn't care for the combat... I really want to play it some more before the 7th so I can try to decide... Elder account is the only way.

Daoc was always a slower combat mode then what you would find with other mmo's, and war is a very close representation.
But one thing (before the trials of atlantis) is that daoc combat was actually meaningful and long.. was fun having a fight for 5+ minutes rather then the 10 second 1 shotters..
of course you needed a good guild to survive more then the first 20 seconds , healhealhealRUN!

I found that the lack of combo's and reactive attacks makes it a little simplistic. Game needs more actual combo's are reacts. Most classes can get away with spamming the same attacks over and over. The Black Orc is actually interesting to play however.
