I tried to download this mod, and suddenly my computer is attacked by three of four Trojans.
WTF??

I scanned it and it's clean. Did you download any maps?

I tried to download it from another website and it's fine, but that map pack thing has a virus on it.

They were on your pc already before. Get a good antivir software.
Btw: You say thank you if people give something to you for free.

Maybe u downloaded one of those "ProAntiViruz2008", etc.
I mean fake antivirus program what shows u everywhere viruses, and trojans, when u have clean PC. And force u to buy full version.
Can u give name of your antivir?

It's very hard to believe that the devs of EIR would want to hax you. I've never experienced any problems, and i've over my time used two of the best anti-virus programs in existance, avast! and Kapersky, neither picked up any viruses.

Avast! is what picked up the virus.
I tested it, the map pack has a Trojan in it.

Tymathee's mappack? You're not the first to say that actually, although I believe others have scanned it and said it was fine.

My avast said the mappack had a virus too but I believed it was just Avast acting up.

Avast fails. It has 50%-60% chance to recognise virus not in database.

The MOD did not give you a virus. If I did we'd have 300 plus users complaining about the same thing.
Enough with this.
