***** Just wondering if the speeds of the heavy emplacement squads will be slowed at all?

For example, american and wehr AT gun teams move slower than other lighter weapon teams and infantry due to actually towing the gun.

Brits are not going to be towing a gun, so without any speed reduction, would be able to move farther faster and begin their build of the emplacement.

Would like to know what the designers are thinking here in terms of balance. Various factors on either side:

Con:
must go thru build time before able to be used.
must be unpacked and rebuilt if it needs to be moved.
I'll assume that if a team is killed while moving, the gun is lost as it isn't built.

Pro:
(possible) faster movement speed due to not having to pull a gun.
great protection from emplacement.
(possible) immobile if captured?

as a follow up question, what happens to emplacements if they are captured? Can they be repacked by the enemy and moved? or are they stuck? Also, for the HMG emplacement, is the facing for that emplacement able to change? or is it static as in vCoH?

I presume that the fact that it will take a while to build will more than outweigh the faster movement most of the time.

smithy is right, the build is not as quick as simply setting up a mg/mortar/at gun ... its an actual building they are building, much like the bunkers of werh.

because there just men running around will a tank be abel to run them over if so they should run fast cuz atlest with an AT gun you cant run it over
and will they have a wepond of any kind cuz a bike could rape them with easy so they would need speed to live

it's about as fast as setting up say a triage center. the units are 3 man squad sjust like are in the emplacements so bikes can't kill them easily, also, tanks have a better chance shooting them than just running them over. If ur dumb enough to move them inside of a fire fight, u deserve to lose 'em

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.
