When i run the launcher it tells me to autoupdate.  When i ran the auto updater for the first time it down loaded and said i was up to date.  I ran the launcher again and it said i still need to autoupdate. i ran the auto updater again and it says "auto updater installed in the wrong location"  I am running steam

auto updater-C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\company of heroes

Launcher- C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\company of heroes\EIRRLauncher

I cant get this game to work. I am cursed! The game fears my british howies!

Hmm... is it in the same directory as RelicCOH.exe?  I don't know the exact pathing for Steam...  Also, are you running the latest updater v1.03 available here: http://forums.europeinruins.com/index.php?topic=275

Sorry I can't help.  I didn't write the auto-updater so I'm not sure what it's looking for to determine if it's in the correct directory.

I got this error too. I open the launcher, it lists 16 files to update. I click update and as soon as it starts it freezes on cURL.dll .
Error Dowloading file. Please try again later.

Any ideas ?

Schultz, that's not the same error as the launcher refusing to download anything.  Your issue sounds like a permission issue... Are you running the launcher as administrator, does it have firewall permissions, etc...

What happens if you delete your cURL.dll file and run the updater?
