These things aren't worth the 40 munitions at all, when people trigger them they just run away and the burn damage didn't even touch them.
Seeing as the Schwimmwagen in Retail got a new Incendiary Trap ability, how about replacing firecrackers with those? They work the same way, just larger spread of fire which might make them worth the cost.

Plus a more damaging initial explosion and suppression.

Hmm well i would love firecracker ''traps'' (same thing but bigger radius and their manually controlled)

I am sort of yust brainstorming here.

Currently they don't deal suppression, thats their problem, the Damage is actually quite high on infantry targets and when the suppression gets fixed the enemy infantry won't be able to do too much. It's 40 munitions for 2 and eventually you'll have a T2 that puts demo charges on a Ketten, so your getting alot of prepared defense on a 1 pop unit

Can you put demo charges on mines? I mean probably not in EiR:R (given their building only policy) but what about in retail? You can demo sandbags, but demoing mines is a devious trick I just thought of that probably won't work at all but is a cool ass concept.

Why can't we just replace them with these?

ketten demos will be placeable anywhere(at least according to the description).

Seeing as normal mines are 35 mun for 2, and 30 mun for 2 uses of a standard inc grenade, paying 40 mun for 2 incendiary grenades that have to be triggered seems ghey.

I'd go as far as making them free overall, I mean, you're wasting a T1 on it, and PP, not like people will spam them to immense effect.

Making them free would work, I mean you have to buy a worthless vehicle which costs half as much as fighting soldiers who could just as well throw the mine.

Im fine with adding some supression to them, or just totally delete them and give ketten the Incendiary trap.

I think I'd rather increase the burn radius. Because these things do a shitload of damage. 10-15 dmg every .33 sec for a maximum duration of 25sec. probably double the burn radius.

That would be good, but don't make it triggered easier or people will catch it on the edge.

Naw. Trigger effect is always the same. Supression is a bit harder to do because you'd have to tie the suppression to the initial blast which would be an entirely different story. And If we gave suppression to the burning itself it'd trap everything and kill it always.

Well regardless of how they are changed, I think we can all agree that they are not worth their current price for what you get.  And even if the price was lowered I think this item would probably go the way of the AT nade unless it is changed.
