if you want to play it now, you need to find other people and leth them all download the map, and put it in C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes\EuropeInRuins\Archives but as you can see here: http://forums.europeinruins.com/index.php?topic=4899.msg175330;topicseenthe map will probably be in the autoupdater soon.

Beautiful map, but brits PIATs render all those buildings one-way mirrors.

so many hedges, so many buildings. piats and vet 2 stickies rule this map.
if you people like it i could clear up the town, making a big town square and remove the double layered hedges to single layered. that would make it a pretty nice map i guess.

The other day I browsed the 3v3 map list and there was only shit in it.

The mod currently has 47 (!) custom maps in.
It's time for another cleaning round. We can offer 'optional' map packs for the less popular ones.

The 4v4 map list at the moment is awful. All matches are either played on Schijndel(?) or Carentan. It'd be nice to have some other good maps in there that could be playable.
What's wrong with having lots of maps (Besides download sizes)? It's much more fun to play on new battlefields rather than play the same ones every time. It'd be funny to know how many games are played on Church/Nuenen in comparison to every other 2v2 map there is, Abbe/Tante in 3v3's and Schijndel/Carentan for 4v4's.

What's wrong with having lots of maps Download size. More so when its download size because of maps they won't play anyway. People keep complaining about lack of maps, but I have yet to find a retail game that will offer you anywhere near the amount of maps EIR offers. I guess this means there's a lack in quality, not quantity then.

u can remove same unpopular maps, or mirror maps like abbe\winter abbe (leave winter abbe and remove another one) or really boring and pure designed maps. I think mod mappack must offer really different and intresting maps. We still have no any urban map.

OR, we could just add these maps to the Module file, and allow people to download them if they want to.

How would it force them to do anything??
The module file is just text, its tiny. The mod comes with all official maps. This just allows players to download and play other maps if they want to.
Stop being all herp derp.

map packs would be fun and optional so you dont have to waste precious space on them if you wish and still allows an easy way to play less popular maps

Having all maps listed in the module file is needed if we are to make maps optional.
If it's not in the module file, they wont work, even if you donwload the map for that game.
