It's almost impossible to lose a calliope if you take care of it.  It's at the back of the battlefield and has the health of a sherman, probably twice as much as any other artillery.  It should cost you 10pp because it's that survivable that it is rarely going to die, and if you lose your calliope every 2 games, then you should think twice about how you are using it.

Lol no.  Calliopes are easy to kill with shrek clowncars.  They are much slower than a sherman.

Still slower than a clowncar, at which point your speed might as well be zero because I will just block you with it.

Calliope is a very unique and effective artillery piece. It has sherman armour, good range, and damages/kills everything in a huge area. That's the best thing about it. A priest or hummel for example will shoot like what? 4 -5 times and maybe hit once or twice.

If you know the enemy is in a sector, move the calliope and BÄM. Shotgunned everything in it. And it is way harder to hit than any other artillery.

flankspeed smoke and repair kit make the calliope almost unkillable....you can loose it but only when you got heavily outplayed and outnumbered

@thymathe replay or it did not happened


to kill a calliope with clowncars you have to survive the break through to all the AT gun ranger airborne lines...and even when you managed that a calliope is still able to bait you into killing zone

i was buying always maximum on blitzkrieg and had a panther in my company just to kill these fuckers....

the chance for mission completed existent by suiciding a panther with blitzkrieg but it was not that big if the opponents know what they are doing

i did it at the beginnin of eirr and it was after atht's were nerfed, did it on church. I also had panther help but i used iht to keep it from escaping.
