Hi!

I'm having much trouble with EIRR. I played some rounds of EIR before Reinforcements came out on another computer. Now I have a new system, a new account and I can't play for the endless lag on the beginning of each game. As it seems, it is impossible to synchronize.

I have a Geforce GT 230 (basically 9600GT), an Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8300 at 2.5 Ghz and 4 Gig ram. In single player I can play CoH on highest settings without lags. I now tried to play on lowest settings, which didn't change anything.

I have occasional problems with my provider, so I ran a speedcheck: I download 1494 kbps, upload 185 and a have a ping of 91 ms.

Could the low upload be the reason? And if so, what can I do about it?

As far as I can tell, it's only CoH. It never happened before, too. My connection has been pretty stable over the last weeks, it used to break down quite often a while ago. (Btw: Cheers for your nickname! )

I am using COMODO antivirus and Antivir. I both deactivated COMODO's firewall (which I know has caused such trouble in the past) and the Windows firewall but neither did help. I could try to shut down COMODO entirely, maybe that'd work.

I used to have similar issues with Panda antivirus, even when I shut it down I still got incredibly lag making it unplayable for everyone in the game. This only happened in multiplayer games.

Uninstalling it did the job.
