The trailer came out today for The Pacific, the seqeual to Band of Brothers.

http://www.thrfeed.com/2009/06/trailer-hbos-the-pacific.html

Looks like it will actually pretty good and follow the story of characters like Band of Brothers.

Also, Flamethrowers.

And in the same way CoH followed Band of Brothers, CoH2 is bound to follow Pacific. I have no doubt.

I want a movie where no nazi saddnes happends and it shows the germans band of brothers style.

Giving it a feeling of mutual struggle between men. Like gettysburg. (The best movie i have ever seen in my life)

CoH followed Band of Brothers? :/
Call of Duty (1) followed Band of Brothers.
Did CoH have Brecourt, Hill 30, Nuenen, or Battle of the Bulge at all? The only thing CoH had was Carentan; CoH was about a unit within an Infantry Division fighting from Omaha to Chambois, and was following Saving Private Ryan more what with the Rangers and all.

Watch 'Stalingrad'

A quick note about some posts: I loved the story in coh (taking it as an rts)

And it delivered the best line since bobs hopes comment on zombies.

yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssss

the pacific battles dont get enough play cuz of the european bias i guess is the word? I dunno but they just trump up the euro theatre a lot

but the pacific for us was a lot more horrific than the euro and the japanese were as bad or worse than the nazi's were the chinease.

some of the stuff that our people did in the pacific theatre or (PTOO - pacific theatre of operations) were hella more heroic than what happened in france.

once guy vs a horde of japss? Yup.
Landing on a beach where the enemy is expecting you and not divierted like d-day? Yup!
men going in tunnels rooting out the enemy one by one? Yup!
crazy men with swords running at you in 100's trying to slice your head off and your body in half while its only 10 of you left? Yup!!!

"I want proof!"
"I have proof!"
"Whatever, I'm still right"

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.
