EDIT: Oh ya I forgot, vet 3 tiger with heat rounds 3 shots shermans.
A panther does the exact same damage as a tiger, has 7.5 longer range, better penetration, can shoot way more accurate on the move and can outrun the Sherman. Why would I ever use a Tiger to kill Shermans when it can’t catch them and has a 50% moveing accuracy penalty? Because the Panther sucks against infantry?

Tiger is still awesome for its cost, you're probably too much used to the Tiger Ace.

I wish i had my ace back. Fast tanks are alive tanks. The tiger Might be good when you know what your doing but as soon as something starts going south you best be ready to collapse the line and pull back

Hence why there's a T4 that buffs the Tiger, which includes a speed bonus. (Raising it from 4 to 5)

yeah but the ace was like 6.something Hell Blitzkrieg makes my Tiger move speed 5 and it's still not that great. My tiger needs flank speed.(and then blitz!!!!!)

Blitzkrieg makes tigers move at 6 speed, actualy. With flank speed on top of that, you'd have a 9 speed tiger(the fastest vehicle in the game being the tetrarch at 8 speed). With all due respect sir, are you high? The tiger's turret won't ever lock on to anything if you did that . The tiger ace had the problem of being just too powerful - not only was it fast and had amazing turret rotation, it also had the same health as a jagdpanther.

It was the only unit in the game that was capable of keeping up with the tetrarch, except for the ostwind(I would know - I ran 8 tetrarchs at one point vs them)... So yeah, unless you see tiger barrels out-pacing flank speed shermans, then the TA's turret rotation was better.

No. Its the EXACT same as the tiger, there is and never was a difference in turret rotation speed.

Elite is right, the TA never had better turret rotation speed than normal tigers.

Yes, and it was exactly because their turret rotation sucked that I would pray that the enemy would do the mistake of trying to rotate the tank to better keep up with me -.-

If you didn't rotate it the TA would never keep up with the speed of tets.

if it would turn, I could start reversing with the tet to fool the gun, if the TA kept still, the TA would keep up with the tet circling it.

Both the normal Tiger and Tiger Ace have a horizontal turret rotation of 19 and a vertical turret rotation of 10.

Firing Range;
Max: 180 Distant: 180 Long: 120 Medium: 80 Short: 40
Unless they outranged flak 88s by 50 percent, you did not use that link as a source.
