I believe you are having these problems Mukip because you are a Commando player and thus mostly anti infantry. That's why in games you play axis run out of infantry but not out of tanks Wink

Anyway the system works both ways and it is fine as it is!

I'm been playing mostly airborne recently.  I think the repair system is more good than bad overall, I'd just like to be able to harass repairing tanks more, 2 mins to repair a P4 is not much time at all in my view.

The thing is that now axis tanks are even more of a bitch because they have high armour and medium health.
Armour is like health you don't lose and don't need to repair

In my Wehr company, I always buy repairs on my P4s and Panther, because they almost always get to use the repairs, being harder to destroy.  As US, my armor is so outclassed that most of the time the tanks are destroyed before getting the opportunity to repair.  Maybe it's the way I use them, my M10s get knocked out in three or four hits consistently, which means if I want to save them I have to back out after taking one or two hits, meaning they'll likely only get one shot off.

So I find repairs much more worthwhile as Wehr.

Bring the Bergetiger back!!!!

PE are most useful for repairs.  They constantly need full health to have a chance in battle with all of their vehicles but the Panther/jagd and IST.

Whermact just use repairs to make they're already awesome P4s come back again and again and again, killing about 30 infantry in the end.

Math:
40 mun repair m10. = 2 hits
150 mun repair kt = 30 hits

Mukip: You probably have that feeling after you fought back my endless horde of vet 3 P4s yesterday… I do however only have 2 P4s in my company and used repairs only once in the game (last p4 used repairs in the end but I had to pull it off because we were out of infantry). Go watch the replay.

The only thing the repair system needs is a button to cancel it (it would also be cool if the repair ability spawned engineers/pios that could be killed by small arms fire (arty), ending the repairs prematurely)

I find it broken with the armor doctrine when you stack it with veterancy + OBM + all the other buffs from the armor doctrine, t4s + vets pretty much fixes the stupidity of most players tbh.

If you ask me axis get more tanks then allies can even begin to handle. Dont axis get like 4 p4s and a panther to go with it. Were the brits get two fireflys which can just about go toe to toe with a p4, and cant go even stand against a panther. amies have 4 shermans which can go toe to toe with p4s when upgunned.

ok sure

You need an entire doctrine to make allied Armour viable?
Or are you saying that the only reason allied Armour should win is if the don't have elite inf?

2 Fireflies is more than enough to deal with 2 panthers at once, tbh.. Micro! The firefly gets buffs the further away it is from the enemy, USE THEM!!!

I find it broken that axis tank vet stacks with skirts, heat rounds, improved barrels + german steel. A vet 3 german steel skirted P4 can take more shots than a tiger, do you not find that broken?

Yeah Axis have no shortage of tank buffing Doctrine choices. the Armoured doctrine is tank centric and it should get lots, but even still the Armoured doctrine doesn't get any Improved barrels.

Yet both shoot and Scoot and Tungsten Tipping AND mobile warfare are barely as powerful as most axis and allied T1s. I do not see the reasoning behind nerfing Shoot and Scoot and Tungsten Tipping :S.

Reload is a great buff, 10% is kinda small but every bit helps. The problem is typically getting close enough to hit enemy tanks. Panthers will still ruin your day. I might tryout that Tank destroyer 25% health buff but even still if you max out on M10's/M18's that only affecting a maximum of 5 units which serve a limited use.

For me to fully equip one of my shermans to make it combat effective and survivable(my definition) i need to spend 230 munitions. my P4's only spend 100. I'm always losing the upgrade economy war before i leave the starting gate.

i agree allied armour need certain buffs if it to be considerd on par with the other fractions amour buffing doctrines. it would be cool if you could have a t2 that would unlock a varity of shermi variants sutch as the jumbo shermi or that other one used in OMG. also maybe the inclusion of a specific mechinized infentry unit with uniqe skin and upgrades could add to the atractivness of the doctrine, i think i may right up a proposition for this as i prevously recomended this to the OMG mod during the breef time when EiR died (post EIR, pre EiRR)
