I must be an anomaly to the usual Commando Doctrine player.

I only keep two squads of Commando's in my Company, both of which i've got up to vet 3, and kept there by being careful and strategic with them.

To me, Commando's arent assault infantry, they are precision tools, used to get rid of a specific infantry based problem in my way.

It allows me to get other things, such as more AT, which frankly, Allies are in need of more than ever these days.

Hell, at one point, i had a single squad of my Commando's back when they were Vet 2, cut down two squads of Grenadiers w/lmg42's trying to approach me by having them rush into heavy cover and hold position. The Silenced Stens did the rest without the loss of a squad member.

One thing i have noticed is that allied elites yust obliterate axis elite infantry.

Going storms w stgs to falls w fgs.

I don't think I have seen Airborne "obliterate" Axis Elite Infantry...

More likely the Airborne will be destroyed by MP44 Storms and FG42 Falls.

The only allied elite infantry that "oblierates" axis ones are commandos.

And even then falls can give commandos a run for its money.

It's a great 'gtfo' ability, but afaik most players seem to 'abuse' it to 'gtfi'
I'm not saying nerf it, bc mandos cost a ton.

On a side note, I think for a t4, rangers should be affected by the carbine deal too.

Rangers are highly overrated, expecially considering their insane cost 330-220. But if you blob two of them and manage to overwhelm the wall of infantry that is in front of axis support they seem uber because they can totally rape a whole callin, but in facts they're not.
I agree on commandos, which are very good at fighting axis infantry, again they aren't that good against panzerelite mp44, fsj with fg42, they have problems with g43s too sometimes.
Vanilla airbornes are just useless, unless you plan to sacrifice them using a satchel charge. They're antitank power is instead nearly as good as axis, unless the enemy has skirts, then they're better gtfo quickly.

that would be nice since I think rangers use the same gun as rifles without smgs. Then you wont be forced to buy ssmgs so your rangers can do with infantry but they wont be as power as rifles since its only 4 men with them and rifles have 6 men.

at the same time, this would enable rangers to be able teo pick up weapons and use them unlike they do when you have the smg upgrade. Just opens up a lot more choices for infantry Cheesy

Rifles use 5 garands, rangers use 6, of which 2 are upgraded to bazookas, so they are left with 4. Not too much lost, heh.
