wow, people whining about mines now?

Greyhound mines are more powerful than reg mines and they're supposed dto crit at a high rate and even engie mines have a high crit rate. You do know that the u nderside of a tank is the softest and that mines explode up. :sigh: How about we be smarter where we move our tanks? I"ve been mined spammed by other players its a game play mechanic, and all mines do high crits. But anywho...why bother.

1. the heavier the tank the more mine damage.
2. ever considered maybe not using your KT as a shield for the rest of your army? then maybe it's only counter wont work.

I have a Pio/Enginner in every company i've ever made. If i see butterfly bombs i call it out, if i see mines i call it out, if i see 2 or 3 dudes standing in the same spot i call it out. It's never failed me yet. No one ever brings 1 mine onto the field, and if they do... well it didn't cost you much(110mp 10mu) you can always jump them on a gun if you need to after anyway

It's pretty rare for mines to insta immobilise. You've just been unlucky.

I thought fausts were compared to stickies..not mines. Don't both sides get mines that are the same?

No, axis mines have no chance to immobilize an allied tank at full health.

Allied mines can immobilize a tiger at full health(25% chance).

Tiger and TA armor type should just be changed, or Pershing + Churchill should get the Armor_Elite type.

Any Churchill worth it's salt would have sweepers...and by sweepers I meant a Mine Plow. Considering most Axis infantry, especially those with vet can survive mines usually without taking a full casualty, unlike Allied inf who normally lose at least 1-2 men.

Maybe we should give Axis Elite tanks mine plows and 3 extra mgs and a spare turret.

I don't think AVRE or Churchill Croc can have a Mineplow on them.

They're also missing Tank Shock..
But usually both Croc and especially AVRE will be behind troops because of how much better they are in support.

I don't know the exact range on a KT but it's plenty enough to blow apart any HMG supressing it's support infantry, especially since it's usually an allied HMG. As Rayze already pointed out this is what mines are for and the KT even has to be baited over them since you can't change your mind where you put your mines.
