I would like to add some random suggestions.

1. Make R+ the first mode, rather than having "Allied attack" as default, some games may go Allied attack more due this, because of host "forgets it"

2. Make a Green circle around  unit in Luncher that is ready to vet up, so you don't need to look threw all your vet 1 units

3. Make so that you can prebuy Vet 2/3 because stuff like this happens (see pic):
Now, I need 2 more xp to gain vet 2, but it holds at 49xp, so all the other xp is lost (Not I gain around 40xp each game, so for this unit, its around 40xp lost) Its just "c mon ffs" This is like "before you lvl up you need to do this and this, witch is wrong, after you kill the monster you get the xp, and keep it, if you don't die. (BASIC RPG RULE) this is just wrong, they sould keep the xp they gain on the battle, and not lose it and "wait" for vet 2

4. Add a "info" about this mod, if you are first time view to this webbsite/forum, its just looks like a plain boring forum, Top there sould be a small overview of the game ex: "EiR is a MMOPG RTS and it works like this....." and so on

5. Add a Name to www.europeinruins.com (It says in Firefox: Noname when you load front page, its in top left name tag before - Mozilla Firefox)

6. Change this boring old white background

I have also wondered why units that cost no SP to vet up such as Engineers or bikes dont gain vet 2 or 3 ingame.

Makes no sense to me.

I think its not omg people. they are not that rude or stupid, but I think we all know who did this... Again... and posted our vent pass on "the" forum... bastard

Some good ideas there Duck.  Mostly "polish" (lowercase p) though, and there's probably a ton of shit on their to do list that as players we would appreciate much more.

I'm not sure I care for the prebuying of vet or not, worst case scenario is a unit might lose out on 1 games' worth of vet gain.  I guess it would be nice.

Your first suggestion is my favorite.  People do seem to conveniently "forget" to set it quite often.

I'd do a different color than green boxing around "ready to vet" units - green is already used to signify that a unit is currently selected.

I think I prefer "boring old" white background though.  It's easier on my "boring old" eyes.   Grin

The vet 'bumps' are there so that a unit cannot go from a nobody to an unsung hero in one game.

So thats why prebuying vet wont be in.

As for the others - they sound good.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

EIRRMod, the only thing I'd say about that is that it would put players in the position of having to essentially gamble PP - albeit not very much - on whether or not the unit survives or vets up.  As opposed to the sure thing of knowing it vets up in between games.

Maybe if the PP cost to vet up were a little higher, giving players the option of paying for it would combine with the risk enough to serve as an extra PP sink. I suppose you could just as easily raise the vet-up cost and accomplish the same thing.

But really it is more than fine as-is, and barely worth discussing, let alone worth expending the effort to change.

Well yeah, thats the thing - its effort vs return for every thing we implement.

A lot of effort (vs return) would be needed to just add pre-purchasing vet.

Totally obvious to me, kind of talking for the sake of talking I guess.
