In my opinion, both infantry halftracks and bren carriers are ridiculous in their ability to provide devastating hit and run attacks with a high chance of survivability.
I can't really think of a way to make them a little less effective without making them useless. However, one idea I had was to make it so infantry halftracks and bren carriers always severely damage/kill all of the inhabitants when they explode, as opposed to having it on a chance based system.

Inf Hts were bugged before with having a 90% casualty rate, and trust me it sucked.

maybe slightly decreased health would do it, but these things are pretty fine anyway. 2 ATG shots kill it, and when you kill it around half the infantry inside die, and the rest should also die if you can really take them on.

The whole idea is out of whack but people seem to like it ..
Inf hts were suppose to carry inf not shield them from attack while they raped tanks ...

Actualy in vCoH, IHTs are there to load it up with two schreks and go baserape.

How many shots from a PAK can Bren Carrier survive with? Is it 2 or 3?

Keep in mind that a bren can carry only 1 squad, it may seem little but it must be considered.

pretty sure you can flame units in a bren. Its only the Kangaroo where they are fire proof.

pretty sure you can flame units in a bren. Its only the Kangaroo where they are fire proof. How come the unit I flamed with flammenwerfer-toy-of-failure, didn't die inside the bren carrier? Both barrels of doom were flaming the bren D:

There needs to be a change to most of the Clown Cars (Brens/ IHT/ Kangaroo). Im fed up with the constant Bren spam by the brits now since they got M3 halftrack armors. Takes upto 3 shots from a Pak jus to kill it, before you can even got the second shot off they have flanked ur AT, support weapons and killing them from behind. Even when iv killed them the squad is still at full HP killing my support weapons.
No vehicle transport should be able to survive more than 2 hits from any AT and units inside the vehicle should after it explodes should take high casualties. I play PE and use IHT alot and only think its fair that if an enemy destroys my IHT, it should kill most of the units inside aswell. I don't care if people think that unfair cos if ur stupid enough to rush ur "Clown Cars" into AT and it dies you should loose most ur troops inside it.

No vehicle transport should be able to survive more than 2 hits from any AT. I do agree. However, the pak does 165 damage versus a bren carrier per shot. 210 with the first strike modifier. So yeah, the bren carrier gets pwnt in two shots easily.

Ye I av to agree it is a deadly weapon but can't deal with more than 2 brens doing a rush from the front. (Each bren with either PIATS/ or flamers inside). I wouldn't av a problem with them if they didn't survive so easy against AT and the troops inside survivin with full HP and no damage done wat so ever.

Ye I agree with ur above idea Leophone. Also the casualty rate should be at 50% no matter wat and should not be on chance. EXAMPLE: If you have say one squad in ur Clown Car ( Rangers for instance). It blows up you should lose about half that squad. So that means 3 would jump out and would give you a chance to retreat them. Therre is another situation though, if you av 2 squads in ur Clown Car. ( Lets say 2 squads on grens which equal 8 units in total). Your Clown Car blows up and you could have 2 out comes from that. Either you lose 1 squad of grens and the other one is full health or you lose half your men on each squad meaning they both only av 2 men left. That would be the gamble of avin 2 squads in the same HT. I see this might cause a problem with people maybe losin high vetted troops this way but its more fair.

IHT or Bren Carriers (mario karts) get totally quite expensive when fully loaded. So two BC with Piats is alot of MP and if the opponent is for example a PIV it ainīt hard to kite the karts + especially Piats canīt hit anything that is moving.
