I believe since the axis get a v1 type bomb the allies should too, and yes i have thought this out, i believe if you made a tier 3 in the airborne tree called like *allied superbomb* it would work out by just changing the sound and the skin of the v1 to a bomber and an allied bomb, and it is historically accurate since the allies had produced a series of heavy pound bombs, so basically it would be an allied v1!

*never will happen but ill give it a shot*

I'm sorry, but you'll never get the laser-guided Tallboy. Laser guidance is solely reserved for the V1.

hrmm, i like this it could help with eliminating v1's, but maybe there should be drift or something just because bomb's weren't that accurate

nah allies already have massive saturating artillery, like bombing runs.  I agree they do need a powerful one, but axis = small area of effect but great damage and allies = large area of effect and medium damage.

Like Firestorm, Rocket Artillery, and Howitzer Shot? Or the Nebelwerfer and Stuka? I think it's too difficult to generalize on artillery. But certainly Axis has more rocket artillery than Allies (and the opposite holds true).

How does the V1, firestorm, and rocket arty have "small area of effect"?

The grand slam series of bombs weighted 22,000lbs(v1 weighted 4000) and has had a blast yield approximately equal to seven V1s.

The v1 was a firecracker compared to this bomb.

Screw v1, just make demo charges placable anywhere.

With lavender oil and a prison scrub I shall bathe in the blood of dnice's vet 3 gren blob as it blows up to a single well placed demo charge, happily waving my little team america flag protracting from the deep mineral rich veins of my sack.

How about plane bombs Cheesy those were pretty sweet.

but yea..axis definitely have more artillery than the allies do.

the reason why it seems allies have more is that the allies need to use their arty more often than axis do, but even in the end, there's always nebels and some type of stuka. One game i played last night there was so much rocket artillery coming myway it wasn't even funny, another game i played i got hit with 2 v1's, 2 firestromes and 2 precisoin strikes andit was a 2v2. You wont see that much off-map arty from even two infantry players.

No you won't.  You can only buy 1 105 offmap for a total of 2.

If you bring up artillery expertise, there's always falling fear.

Wehr has arty up the ass atm.  Only brits can compete with their FOO, which isn't as good because you have to pay for it and it has short range.

Yea, we use nebels a lot.  But nebels do not blow things up like real artillery.  I'm not saying they aren't usefull.  They are great for taking out mortars and pushing men out of an area.  But they are not like howitzers, hummels, priests or callies.  Not even close.

Howitzers are worthless, 1 bike and 1 firestorm/v1/rocket barrage later its dead.

Priests and hummels are mirrored on both sides.

Callies are a waste of fuel in a doctrine focused on tanks.   Paying fuel for callies is like paying fuel to use precision strike.
