Yea, pulling out gives positive G's and causes a blackout, negative G's are in the dive and give you a redout....

However - more speed = moar boom. Basics of kinetics ^^.

That theory only works consistently with solid projectiles. Bombs, artillery rounds, mortar rounds, and rockets dig into the ground before they explode, which channels the blast upwards (which is a bad thing). In order to get the biggest effective blast against soft targets like infantry, vehicles, and tanks, you want to slow the bomb down so it digs into the ground less, or even put the arming fuze way ahead of the explosive to get a ground-burst effect. Of course, it doesn't really matter unless the bomb is traveling ridiculously fast or ridiculously slow...or you put a proximity fuze on it.

Or you could simply pack the bomb with a bajillion pounds of TNT or something.

We are serious about enforcing this, and I am sure you all want to be able to have your balance thought considered by the development team with some biased, sensationalist coming into your thread and ruining it.

It was a 22,000 pound bomb, not a 2500 pound bomb.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Sorry, 2500 was not a single measurement of that bomb. I think I meant to say 6500 pound bomb in reference to its detonation equivalent rating.

6.5 tons is not 6500 pounds. Wink

The Blast yield for the Grand Slam was 6.5 tons of TNT. In terms of total explosive filler, it was almost 10,000 pounds...

no super weapons.... period, and no v1s are not super weapons, (at least against anyone who is not deff) v1s are more like kaser guided bombs that very rarly hit there intended target if it is not a static object.

But it wouldn't be a super weapon, it would be exactly the same as a V1 except it comes down twice as slow, with more damage. So it's even more like the laser-guided V1, and it'll never hit a mobile object.
