This is a 1v1 I had with Pak. Now I understand that balance shouldn't be based around 1v1s and its partly the fault of the map but this game left me scratching my head and thinking 'I literally cannot beat this,' which isn't something I think very often as I am generally a decent player.

The only thing I could think would be overwhelming armour spam but remember the FJs have 2 fausts each so even then its gonna be pretty tough.

Look how quickly rifles die to these dudes, its insane.

If the Fire Up is the biggest problem, replace it with sprint (because those bad guys somehow can have it). Or remove it completely and give them those BARs for free. I don't know, just do something! maybe the airborne can get the carbine treatment from infantry doc... thats why airborne has issues with infantry, it doesnt have the proper fire rate of the actually carbine.

Airborne are fine at anti-infantry, they have good hp and several doctrine buffs meaning even though their carbine sucks, they can win a firefight through attrition and focus fire.  I dropped 4 ABs behind someone yesterday and suppressed a squad of assault grens with carbines  Grin

They are 4 men but still seem kinda tough. They got Sprint (does that even have Exhaustion?), which isn't the same as Fire Up but it means "get outta here quickly!" too and no, they don't have 'zooks, they don't even have RRs - they got Panzerschreck. hehe.

nope, instead they have one of the best guns in the came, can sprint, can paradrop and can cloak.

and they come in the best doctrine for PE...and the most popular reinforcement doctrine.

i told Sach thats the 1st time ever i had that many falls on the field. In a team game it would be impossible for me to field such a force. I would have to get counters for AT mgs and mortars. I still feel Bars can beat falls once you hit the " I win" suppression fire.

They aren't tough.  At all.  They die very quickly...you just have to live long enough to shoot them...
