What is wrong with veterancy hunting?

Hmm.. Well about vethunting, i mainly hate it. I mean i understand if i have a 1/4 hp vet 3 PIV on the map and a sherman + m10 are chasing it, its only natural, but its just so fucking sad when they actualy MANAGE to make me retreat my... Hmm lets say vet 3 grens. I thought the point was that they aint a problem in the game anymore, but these dang idiots who just get their jeeps and quads and chase em to the spawn, well.. I just dont tolerate that, neither do understand.

As someone pointed out already, i too, let my opponents vet just run away, why? Becouse i "beat em" already by making em retreat.
Ofcourse i try to kill vetties always, but the meaning is, chasing em with a quad in the end of your spawn? Fail, epic fail. Totally ruins the game.

But as i pointed out already, tanks are different. They cant be "auto retreated" meaning they dont gain wheels under their asses and drive away to the spawn shouting "RUN AWAY, SAVE J00 SELFZ!" *c. Volks* so they are operational as long as they stay on map.

I realy met someone mercifull few weeks ago when my kt was down to 1/5 hp and had engine damage. My opponent instead of chasing it down with firefly and his pershing (or his mates), they let it go, why? Cos they knew that it wont be a problem anymore. I realy appreciated that one.

Mm.. Yes i would like to point out that my kt is vet 3, thats why it was R33L T0uching. I rarely, and i mean rarely vet hunt. Only cases where i vethunt are when i had been hunted.. Eye for an eye

Last game I JUST got my KT vet2. Came out on the field, and then got mobbed by Flak's and M10's.

Your teammates don't seem to like you aswell


If you bring Vet on the field just accept that with entering the battle it has entered its grave.
Eirmod has a nice priority list that counts for a lot of players myself included.

Sometimes killing that special vet unit can turn the battle, the player that lost it is angry, makes wrong decisions, rages and wants revenge, other ragequit

I have been vet hunted so many times, i will do the same when i see vet. Hunting them to spawn? Depends how the enemy behaved

My stance on vet hunting:

Playing against newer players - gentlemans rules, no vet hunting unless someone instigates it first (the newer players)

Playing against pro/leet players - no holds barred, and my vet is PLASTIC!

Think it would be good if everything could get a hold fire button? It would ofcourse help stealth operations, but it would also help not last hit the opponent.

dont have too much of a problem with it, just dont like spawn campers who wait the retreat route.. or mine it etc.  lost 2 vet 3 rifles late in a game, this guy setup a hmg, mg44 and iv right at my spawn with mines..   kinda gay

What I don't like is when people lose the game to kill my vets.

One guy dropped like 3 or 4 RR squads on my fleeing vet 3 mortar HT and retreated after killing that single unit. Obviously we won that game.

i once watched a howitzer shell curve and land dead on top of a vet 3 officer.....the guy went afk for the next 20 minutes. His team was like yeah once you kill his vet 3 officer he parked a marder at spawn and that was that.

I dont mind vet hunting.  The only time I have a problem is when a team practically loses on purpose just to kill a vet 3 unit.  Ive had someone literally destroy their entire company and lose the game to destroy 1 tank.
