Can´t play US or Wehrmacht

I know that this ain´t the correct forum for vCoH questions but I know that there are many here that got alot of knowledge about this game, and or may had the same problem before... So here is my question.

A friend of mine have fully installed both vCoH and OF and played it for atleast half a year.

Today a problem appeared. He can´t choose the american or wehrmacht army and a text box appear:

"You cant play wehrmacht, please purchase tales of Valor".

He have tried to rewrite the cd-keys but then it says that it has already been done.

Anyone that got a clue how to fix it?

Would be grateful for assistance.

Sounds like he COULD be missing the files needed on wermacht and us.

I had a same type of problem not long ago. I suddenly "missed" wehr and us campaings/sounds/etc and was unable to play with em. I just reinstalled the whole game, made sure everything was in and vóila, works.

You should tell him to try reinstalling

Its also strange that it tells you to purchase ToV Instead of CoH, which in you gain the access to wehr/US.. So i would recommend trying out what i, and baine told

Sounds harsh to install CoH but he is perhaps forced to do so, It ain´t a small game and it used to work before. But ye he must perhaps do that.

No, he is the only that have used his discs/keys.

Yea reinstalling might work, takes a long time but at least all the patches are stored on your HD.

ANd you only need to install OF and then patch, not normal coh.

Yes he´ll reinstall it now and ye good that the monster patches are saved on the HD.
