Needs to be increased by like 5m, cause as of right now, when you click on the officer to follow a squad, the distance between officer and squad is just great enough for the squad to be at the edge of his aura range.

When the squads move they constantly exit the officer's aura, and this makes it kind of annoying to use his IA ability only to have the squads the officer is supervising, hop out of his aura so they dont receive the bounuses from the IA.

Increase the aura range bonus for the officer, or decrease the distance between the officer and the supervised squad.

Then you are obviously misusing him.  He works perfectly fine in all the games i have played or seen.

the american officer has a shorter range for a reason,  it was designed to be a close support officer.  The follow command was only added to make lazy people happy, not to make his aura stay on the troops forever.

From my use I've found the american officer stupifyingly powerful. Paired with rangers and flamers he turns them into unstoppable assault infantry impossible to defeat without atrocious amounts of axis infantry. His colt also deals amazing damage, I've been regurlarly getting 10-15 infantry kills with him.

Pair some carabine rifles with a british lt and the american officer and they wipe the floor with anything.

In no need of a buff.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

well then i guess ill have to stop using "Stay at commmand range".

I never said he wasnt good, just when he's attached to a unit, that unit periodically wanders out of aura range, and i didnt think that was right.

I hate to put it like this but - using the "follow" ability is for noobs. Positioning your aura/leadership units is part of your micro.
