Every use of V1 comes with a use of V1 DUD - all the noise and none of the boom.

Look at it this way: It's a buff that actually does nothing to balance while improving the effectiveness of a doctrine choice that really rarely pays for itself.

                      Below this line is just theory crafting                       
Firestorm needs some sort of minibuff.. like reduce missile damage by 50% and increase flame radius by 100% and flame damge by 50% so its like american 105 barrage - GTFO or your ass is fried.

and yes, the firestorm takes a bit too long to come down. maybe -0.5 or -1 seconds less delay

I've always wanted officers to be able to make fake smoke like commandoes unlock ability, it would be taking something unique away from that doctrine though.

I wish ami officer could drop smoke barrage since he's an assault officer, it would make a lot of sense. Drop smoke, pop that inspired assault thing and boom.

The Doctrines are undergoing a *MAJOR* overhaul atm, we're taking in a lot of your input and seeing whats working and not working.

We're close to ending this phase, we should only let it run for a few more days at most.

Why would you change one and not the other? These two are the most compareable in terms of when to use, and the effect i has on the enemy Roll Eyes


If V1 gets a fake fire, then other artillery should too, I think this would go someway to compensate artillery based doctrines somewhat if/when they are changed.

Some arty already gets fake uses. Besides, fake arty fits much better into Terror than any other company.
