Anyone use these? i mean my main reason to use them was for repair bunkers and 88s. you dont see repair bunkers anymore and you dont see normal bunkers too much either. no one plays defensive so you dont see 88s. and i dont see many luft 88s either, which are usually guarded by flak veirlings either way. so should they still cost 90 munis?

I wont :/ a 5 second timer, its only use is bunkers and flaks maybe a damaged engine KT. And to get close enough to through your guna lose half your squad, not worth it.

It doesn't matter how cheap or powerful it is, if anything can just get out of the way in the time alotted.

They're great against support weapons, flak guns, garrisoned units, blobs, and even the occasional damaged tank.
Still, not worth its 90MU cost.

Can we please get aloha banned from balance threads again?

At any rate, satchels are just not worth the 90 munitions cost, even with the 3 second timer. 70 munitions for 2 uses might be OK - but I'd still think about getting them. I like my airborne with RRs...

I have to lol at this thread, i read it as, we need another airborne buff this time please reduce the price of our sachels & here is the lol part because the axis arnt using bunkers & 88s anymore.

Seriously surely that must equate to buff these under used doctrines rather than buff the OP airborne further, or maybe not, lose the will to post on these forums sumtimes.

Wolster - there's only one thing broken about airborne, and that's airborne elite. When's the last time you SAW a satchel? I don't think it was in the past 4 months, or so. Shows towards something being pretty useless, no?

What doctrines exactly are underpar? The only one I see that's truthfully underpar is defensive. It just fails at life. The others are more or less equal or better than airborne.

So lets look at everything thats not really used right now and define it as useless?
Maybe there are some never used things that arent useless but cant stand a chance versus better things? (Stuart without CS on CD versus Staghound e.g.)

The Developers have Database insight, which means that they could do a full analysis on things that are used(and how much, popularity)  and things that arent(Units, Doctrines, Upgrades) and then make balance decisions based on that.

Oh cool maybe we can make my Fall's anti building grenades not useless and make them spawn a tank or something when you throw them.

Spawn an AT gun maybe, makes more sense too!

AT grenade, spawns an AT gun!

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

He has a point, the Incidieary Grenade on FJ has like 1/5 of the throwing range the assault grenadiers have with the grenade.
