flak 88 and moving camo paks work really well together, Especially since the camo paks loud squeaking noises are gone now.

Its quite impossible to bring tanks near a defensive player right now and with the right ally anti inf is all they need since this combo is so deadly.

Mhm not quite sure whats the issue to discuss here?
You mean that AntiTank Capabilities that Defensive has now, similiar to Tank Destroyers?
Or the synergy of defensive doctrine and any other doctrine,  similiar to e.g. Armour + Infantry synergy?
Or do you mean the synergy of 88 + camouflaged scouter units, similiar to 88 + cloaked luftwaffeinfantry/fj/ketten?

In 90% of the games I play with a defensive team-mate, the flak was quickly taken by 4 AB squads and our defeat secured. I realize they are deadly in the right hands, but they are still extremely vulnerable to things like AB, 57mms, and howis. In my experience, all you need to do is stay out of range and pummel it with indirect, or swarm in with infantry and it's yours.

The 88 is expensive, requires too much effort/attention to be very useful, and is very situational.
In the right hands and in the right situation, it can work wonders, but those ideal conditions are so rare it's not worth it, when other alternatives are more reliable, and even a better form of AT, often times.
Also, it's in no way worth a T2.

The Flak 88 counters Armor Company (sans Cally) and Royal Engineer Support.  Tongue

It doesn't do much against AB, Infantry, RCA, or Commandos.  Lips sealed

That's the thing; more than 2/3 or the time thew 88 is not only useless, but a waste of your battalion's resources, pop, pool, T2, etc.
The cost really needs to be toned down a bit in all aspects.
